can anyone please tell me what this is and if it’s safe? Must have come from a coral purchase

Candy stripe pistol shrimp. They pair up with gobies. I have one with my yasha goby pair.

That is an A. randalli, a commensal pistol shrimp that pair with shrimp goby. Randal or Tiger pistol shrimp

Pistol shrimp. Reef safe. But dig and are known to carry off rubble to reinforce or decorate their underground cave. May burry small corals in the ground near its cave. Get it a watchman goby friend and, if they pair up, you’ll witness a beautiful relationship. I love mine
