Shroom doing normal shroom things?

Is my mushroom doing normal shroom stuff? He does this every night but today I saw him still in his nightly state. Unsure if its normal or if I just caught him too early in the morning

soft corals in general are weird, do stuff that looks like they're going to die, then poof they look amazing the next minute lol
