Just bought this Red Disco mushroom and noticed this branch looking thing on it.
Any ideas on what it might be?

They are harmless. No need to worry. If you dont like the look they are easily removed with a toothbrush.

Hmmm, it look to me like something else xD
If it's moving.., it's a spagetti worm xD look close around it, and if you see collected detritus etc..., it's a worm
If isn't moving, like the rest say it's a sponge.
