Craziness bro I only get in trouble when she's really mad. We went beyond shine/quiet status to the 10 yr old stuff with a quickness. I figure I may as well get it all on the table now it can only be uphill from here bwahahaha totally crazy.
Just going to throw this out... I love watching adults throw a fit and thinking we should care.

Stomping your feet will just make me laugh at you. Stop doing that..

Oof .. so not gonna ask about the blue shroom baby in a baggie anymore :P wanna keep you outta trouble .

Tanks looking killer will view from a far. I don't get in trouble ‍

Lol @Nate Chalk I got plenty of those. I also have some true blues I got from Frank. The one you really like is more of a green/teal depending on light spectrum. Lil man called it Hulk Nebula back in the day and it kinda stuck. You would have to see the old school galaxy ish white patterns it throws on cap to appreciate it.

@Lost in the Sauce we rolling with it bro. I told her but what about our Cali trip. We must be prepared hahahaha. She's looking forward to the trip so there are some flip sides hahahaha

Alright got another 10% water change done. Let's see how many nasty patches pop up this time;)
I'm convinced that there is most definetely something to leaving well enough alone and allowing water column to mature. The less I leave it alone and keep things stable the healthier it feels and the more my critters seem to thrive. Why on earth would we spend thousands of dollars to maintain params within water column and flush it down the toilet either way? My exact opposite thoughts in regards to a system that's not obsessive and meticulously maintained!

Anyhow I found a ton of shrooms I totally forgot about and was able to get some decent pix of a few others lol

I totally agree, my tank always looks better when I just leave it alone. Truly all you need is a cheap doser and water changes if need be, the tank will take care of itself once its established. Its looking great for you man those shrooms are killing it.

Hey buddy how you been doing? Did GMK blow up for you? For sure man I'm going to see what's up with full automation and sending in a sample every once in awhile until I get a good feel on what's happening with the stuff I'm not testing for. A quick polish with 5 micron sock always has my water crystal clear. Not sure what a water change here and there can hurt. I just kind of feel like things do way better when I let things happen and stay out of it.

wait... this is all thats left !
Just give it a few months I'll have real GMK problems again lol for whatever reason they just blow up in my tank. I'll take it I guess I just have to keep them contained a little better. Running out of room and need to be moar smarter about what all lives here and where they all live haha

Yessir I wish I could've made this tank harder but can't lol. Super obsessive dosing for nutrients to keep them detectable for first couple months. All other parameters as stable is I possibly could and reef has pretty much grown itself:D

Automation has been my friend with ATO + Kalkwasser and the KH Guardian.

I only have to worry about phos and nitrate :)

Duuuuude I just kind of feel like it's going to take my reef game to the next level. Using it only as tool to make reef life a little MOAR easier. It's going to make me regret not doing it sooner lol

I've been good man the tanks been doing pretty good lately, I had some issues this summer it overheated and I had a bunch of stuff die including the GMK's unfortunately. I learned my lesson though and got a chiller. ive been able to get some GMK's back and they are taking off again which im stoked about. Yeah for sure man water changes usually always result in positive results.
