Wrasse hanging ten glass is dirty!

Dinos gone
Good stuff man. Just keep an eye on the po4. Don't let it creep up and bottom out on you. Just when you think it's good it gets you. Check it once a day for next couple weeks until you know it's solid and you should be good.

Lights on action. Can't believe how clean water is this morning.
We are totally out of real estate. Must make room lol Wife says your not getting rid of any more corals. You have the other tank right next to it! Put water in it! Not sure who's the bigger enabler now hahahaha

Proposal...... What if we trade Wife of LRT :D

She's not wrong at all homie. Get the other tank wet.
They have a 240 at lfs im seriously considering right now. Pretty sure it's a shallow 8 footer. I only want 1 system to maintain. I thought the 2x4 foot print was going to be good and it was for about a year. Idk what im going to honestly. I want to get it all done over the holidays and take advantage of sales though!

Shallow 8' is the way to go :) it's so easy to reach everywhere and there is a ton of room.

Pretty much the same layout you have now but bigger.

I was worried about you getting a larger deeper tank and it messing with the style of reef you have going.

Keeping the same style lagoon will allow you to replicate flow and lihting ;)

Idk my friend ive given this alot of thought over the years actually. When it comes right down to it I'm choosing MOAR reef:D;)
But. Variety and moar reef = win win ? :D

Yessir I've been thinking about that alot. I want to stay consistent. Nothing beats shallow top down viewing man. I think its 20" deep so id end up with about 18" to play with. 2 more than I currently have and could do alot with that extra 2 " hahaha. I'm not not going any deeper than that. Plan is open the footprint. What did you end up going with @MERKEY?

Yeah def time for bigger tank. Learned alot with this one and have a pretty good long term vision of what I think that's going to look like moving forward from critters im going to stock to functionality for sure.
Was able to snag a top down shot from the left side of tank and a cpl others:D
This old no name, yellow polkadotted, glitter sprinkled Ultimate Corals shroom is a sure stunner:) @hcker99

Yeah man when it comes to ease of maintenance im going shallow and long all day long everyday lol. This 80gal is actually only 16" deep so I'd be gaining a bunch more to work with. I could pull my super nice shelf pieces out of the sump and get really creative up top with it.
From here on out I'm only stocking what I want in tank long term. I kinda lost my mind and just threw stuff in to fill it out quicker. Never letting any one shroom species over populate and dominate my system either. I've had 2 major losses in my system now. Both times when I allowed a specific species populate the tank. Both times only that specific species nearly wiped itself out. Has to be warfare amongst themselves because no other corals or species of shrooms where affected either time. They just start nuking. Themselves hahaha

Don't you have two identical four footers, laid out next to each other?

Why not just set them up running on the same sump, giving you only one system to maintain?

I do bro. That's an option I've been looking at. Already have the stand just need to clean it up and paint it before I can show it. The 240 is sounding nice though. Just a tad bit more height. I need to think about it a bit more but wife is pushing to get the other 80 going instead!

Snagged a few decent close-up shots. Seeing a few morphs floating around this tank that I never put in the tank lol. It's going to be interesting to see what some of these shrooms do in the future:) Apex gear is in town! Its saying "early" Hoping it shows up before Sunday:D Tank us responding well to MOAR flow.
