Hey broseph I think I have watched this video and many others but def worth a re-watch. Ive been watching tons of videos, studying graphs and following a few threads here discussing lighting and been pretty obsessed with it lately lol.
What ive deduced based on observation is exactly what the old school reefers have been saying all along.
Full spectrum = More growth and general overall healthy feel and vibe based on the way my shrooms are reacting. Minus a cpl
Blue Spectrum= Better PE and color on some. But that swelled up, basking in the sun vibe turns into shrunken/stressed caps. Minus a cpl.
Trick is going to be trying to give them all what they need and find the happy balance. Compromises will be made but will be best for overall health of system.

Idk but I'm kinda digging what im seeing:D Can't wait to start playing with a little more full spectrum and see what finding a little Kelvin does lol.
Been super worried about CB radioactive sitting up next to Minecraft. Took the move pretty hard and thought she was shrinking and melting. Turns out she really needed MOAR of the right kinda light haha.
Anyhow check out Minecraft still doing the crinkle dance from just 1% less whites thrown at her yesterday.
Also check out Magic carpet. Turns out the whites, reds and greens are making the top of her explode as well:D

Forgot about this one. This is what is driving full spectrum for me.
With just a little MOAR whites, reds and greens. Og godzilla started busting off some serious bubbles. Im not talking some moar. Im saying her whole cap was almost covered in them at one point;)

Exactly what I was thinking first time i seen the shroom.
I'm curious what it looks like in white light. One of my lfs has a hammer that is same color as shroom in blue light. Turns orange in whites.

Wakey wakey lol. So things are moving right along here. Getting ready to do the ends of lagoon up with some sand for wrasse and critters. All my rock in back is sitting on racks that im going to need here real fast. Pretty much all these shrooms are dropping babies now. The babies are dropping babies.. Idk if its the new tank or whats happening but ill take it. Which leads me to another thing I need to tighten up and build a few shroom boxes that can house the babies and keep from floating away. Truth be told during my WaveMaker mishap I probably lost enough shrooms to pay for this entire upgrade plus the monster tank im looking at for wife lol. Not to mention the mini colony of JB my wife found on bottom of tub under the rack during the move.. Those all floated as well..
Anyhow I have a bunch of material leftover from tank cover build I may as well put it to good use:D

Seeing tons of different color variations on the electus now. Super hardy shrooms for me so far. Def a different kind of color like almost metallic shine and very vibrant. But next to my green Poletti JB they kinda look regular:D
Lemme see if I can dig up some good pix
