Apparently par meters are known to under read the par valuse on t5's and more on mh lights. So whenever you do get the par reading just remember if your running t5's or mh theres more par than you think!

Ok I let tank 2 go long enough.
Performed 100% rip clean and scrubbed all rocks and rinsed with tap in tub at tank temp with high power sprayer!
This rock came out of sumps during initial upgrade. So its time to start boot camp cure process

Tank 2 was totally covered in gha. Every surface of rock, glass you name it!
Thats what I get for doing pretty much nothing with tank for last cpl months lol.
Anyhow I finally put my check valve on it. Lowered one of my rfg to get whirlpool effect around rock and drilled a cpl siphon breaks on locline just in case.
I'll probably have to take rock out and scrub a few more times throughout cure process. This time I'll record the process.

Here it is day 1!

Love how clean this tank looks with hydras over it

Still need to clean up the powers trips behind it and get out of sight but this tank may totally end up outshines shroom lagoon.
Still need to rinse sand and get it in but want to to get tank stabilized and rock cleaned up first.

Fts Tuesday shots I figured I better start recording some things on Tank 2.
Alk 6.1 not surprised
Phosphates 0
These are all I decided to test today.
I know for sure that Nitrates are present i feed puffy and powder brown enough to food to open a nitrate factory ill have to get a handle on that soon.
I'm going to imagine every thing else is bottomed out so hit it with max dose of A4R and 5ml alk. See how it looks tomorrow. Also smashed it with 1ppm phosphates im not playing with this tank at this point.
The lagoon is pretty much coasting. Alks been sitting at 8.3 everytime I test when I decide to test so im feeling like I got dosing down on it

Hit with 10ml of Alk and 10ml A4R see where it sits tomorrow.
Lagoon
8.3 Alk steady
Phosphates sitting between .03-.1

Postponed deliveries until next week. Hopefully shipping delays will get caught up and no more bad weather. Its hot here so I don't mind waiting a bit longer.

For sure if I manage to ruin one of those frags I have absoloutely no business thinking about sticks.

Need to throw blue + or coral + bulb in T5 and see if I can safely pull another 50 par without cooking shrooms.

This shroom is in league all on its own. Haven't seen anything with these colors as well as it literally looks like it has glitter sprinkled all over it.

Have you ever checked how much they raise par in comparison to actinic?
Right now I have back bank set up with 2 actinic and only pulled 25-35 par with it.
This is going to be super tricky man. I'm already throwing alot of blue with my led. Im pretty sure id have to dial led back a bit as they didnt like something last time i turned T5 on.
I cant touch led settings its what they are used to and do the best with.
I have a purple+ as well. Majority of my shrooms seem to be most forgiving with purple spectrum not sure why.
I really need to see whats up this weekend. Just need to be super careful and see how they react.
Honestly it may not work with the sticks in the lagoon. I can always dial up the par on Saxby settings with hydras in tank 2 and that very well may be what I have to do honestly.
