Shroom Lagoon Do Over

You deep cleaning tanks more than anybody I know homie! I wish I had that kind of resolve.

Honestly bro im really not. Takes about a half an hour a week to totally maintain tank 1 Honestly I can clean it is fast as my feed mode on return is timed for but I take my time a little.
Hook up a 5 micron under overflows. Scrape surfaces. Let it clear up for all of about 2 minutes. Let it settle another 5. Siphon out 5-10 gallons while I sweep the floor. Pump water back in and done. 5 micron socks and old credit cards have totally changed my reef game haha

Really wish I could get pictures to upload to quality I can take them at. Strapped "glare" filter on front of orange filter on wyze cam. Cant even tell I have water in tank 1. Kinda creepy lol.

Im not sure how many times 55 watts of power is turning over this 80 gallon tank but im sure its closer to max turnover considering I only really have a Y and 2 hard 90's holding it back.

I do love this tank. Leap years ahead of my old system. Pretty much runs itself now. You would totally rock on of these tanks out man.

Flow is killing me here lol. Xenia coming out tonight. Goni staying put and gonna move the monti and broken monti frag over to anacro side. Goni loves flow. Going to take one of my wavemakers and turn it and see what kind of damage I can do haha. Never ends man. Hopefully change on flow doesn't make too many shrooms mad.

All the talk in your thread really has prompted me to do whats needing to be done. Need to figure something out pretty quick. Other issue is I have my GMK frag sitting next to slimer on left hand side. Trying to keep that bad boy in heavy par like it was in system I got it from.

Was a tiny little piece of foot attached that I had to cut away so may just end up with a bonus booger. Soon as she lays back down im propping her back up so she starts walking down like the yumas under her. She's already starting to walk to opposite side so this should be fun and quick.
Also got wavemaker spun around in back corner. Pointed up towards goni on light pulse to keep a current on her.
Keeping xenia in for now to see how flow looks after everyone settles in.

Its been alot of work man let it go too long. Just going to keep cleaning it until it takes care of itself. Really need to get turf scrubber set up to help keep nitrates in check. Whatever it takes though probably have a good month to get in line.

Positive vibes update. Im seeing alot of my old school shrooms starting to react the same way they did in old system to particular things. I bumped my whites up to 19% with my blues to 37% and got immediate reaction with some of the oldies standing to attention and sprawling out
Check out Minecraft actually shading the shroom under her. 5" tile totally dwarfed at this point if I had to guess she's a solid 7" now?
Radioactive right next to her has probably doubled in size since upgrade and that wild caught deadpool/candycrush/super man blue and green streaked shroom on bottom is starting to stand at attention again

Total bummer man. Tank 2 skimmer quit working after I unplugged it and found out the impeller was shot, split and rusting out the tank.
Never again will I buy used. You will buy twice and this may bite me.
Metazorb on the way.
Anyhow upgraded skimmers on both tanks. Everything brand new at this point.
Shout to my dudes at Discount Aqurium for coming through in a pinch!

Oh yeah wait till you see the surprise coming tomorrow. All im gonna say is think minecraft but probably bigger and just plain crazy.
