Try lower par and indirect flow. Mine turned almost white from the drive home and after introducing to my system. Im almost positive that all the critters needs is stability and try to get them in sweet spot.
I bet it's not in super heavy flow. Mine doesn't like heavy direct flow. Seems to be doing just fine in pulsing indirect flow moving water around it. Even my goni perked up there same par.

Hmm so we may be talking about same thing. What im calling heavy is actually around 30% indirect flow in my tank. That being said all that is indirect.heavy random flow.
