Yeahhhh - tiny lil guy went missing and I thought it was just hiding so I didn’t do any digging. Had to change filter pads and had an “ah shashimi!” moment. Big one on the way now

Oh dang sorry to hear this. Better luck with the new guy. Ive either been really lucky or my little guy is just really happy and content with all the pods he gets to eat hes not going anywhere. Not sure where you sourced yours but got mine from Reef pro. Super healthy active little guy landed, acclimated nicely in a bowl and went straight to work when he went in tank. Fat little belly an hour later no joke

Alright got super busy at work and kinda went into slack mode for few weeks. Nothing serious just skipped a week or 2 of maintenance and few days of dosing A4R here and there. Anyhow I got 5 micron sock in and did usual cleaning. Also running a 20 micron sock now to help pull out whatever rodi was letting through. Stained a cpl up pretty good but water is back to crystal clear and no brown film anywhere to be seen!
Feeding time thought I'd grab a few pix. Wrasse decided to eat with rest of the crew.
Going to try and get condos built this weekend. Or at least start them.
Really need to pull my back overflow screen. Going to cut a 1/4" slot qt water level line so it lets more water through and gets rid of the build up on surface. At the moment I just pull it out for 10 minutes here and there but cutting a slot should fix the surface gunk.

Og Godzilla mama I moved down to floor has decided to eat one of my Roxanne mamas! Its a sacrifice that has been made unintentionally but still happening!
This Roxanne was easily 4-5" before the Godzilla got to her.
