What is the best way to remove mushrooms from the coral or rocks? I have someone that are overtaking the pico tank I have.

If anyone is near Milwaukee or not that far away and want to do some shroom swapping Im up for it.

The ones that I seem to have a plethora of are the mint chocolate chip's

Use a razor blade to cut the base of the mushroom off the rock. You can try to super glue the mushroom to a new rock, but Ive found that the mushrooms typically slime too much for the glue to work. Instead, place the mushrooms on top of a layer of small pieces of live rock in a plastic container. Place this container in the sump or low flow area of the tank. Or put a net or something similar over the rock loosely holding the mushroom there and secure with a rubber band. This will allow the mushrooms to heal and attach themselves to a new piece of rock. After they attach, you can glue them/transfer them to a different tank

Thanks for the help, I will have to give it a try with one to see how well that works. It seems like I am having a mushroom bloom going on. I have seen about 6 new mushrooms in the last two week, and the few I knew about have doubled in size over that time.
