Shutting off dosing pump during feed mode - Question??

I have a Bubble Magus T01 dosing pump dosing my Triton Core 7. I was wondering if I shut it off during feed mode when my return is off, and I miss a dosing time, will it deliver that dose when the power returns to the pump or will it skip it until the next one. Its hard to time feeding around dosing times and I keep getting caught.

I'm trying to understand why you would stop your dosing pump when you feed the tank? What's the reasoning behind that?

Dosing alkalinity elements when flow not running in sump is causing them to precipitate.

I'm not familiar with Triton additives. If there is precipitation when adding these elements. Run a small powerhead on a separate circuit that will give you the flow you need.

Thanks, I could do that. I have a number of space constraints. I'll just try to feed around dosing times.
