Sicce ADV fittings - PVC or ABS?

Are the fittings that come with the ADV series Sicce pumps ABS or PVC? BRS website says PVC, but the plastic just doesn’t seem PVC and it feels more like ABS, obviously PVC cement on ABS will just melt it, so it’s kind of important, and a shame that even the user manual doesn’t mention what kind of plastic it is.. insane!

So you have the answer. Its PVC. You don't believe it (all good) - I would call Sicce customer support and ask. I guess a question would be why do you need to put PVC cement on a pump (if I'm understanding you correctly)

I am sure I used PVC cement on my ADV 5.5 when I plumbed my mixing station.

Just use the dual purpose pvc/abs cement and you're good. It's the green one.

I actually was curious - my Sicce pumps all have threads - I'm curious why would one cement a pump to plumbing?

Checked with Sicce.. it is in fact ABS. I pointed out to them their website says PVC, and asked for 2 new fittings, so I can replumb my pump.
