I bought a Sicce dc 6.0 pump about 9 months ago and it’s worked real well until this week. I woke up to an alarm a couple of days ago saying that there was something stuck in the Sicce return pump. I cleaned it out and it started working so I thought that was the end of it, but a few minutes later the pump just shut off. Both the physical and WiFi controllers say the pump is running like normal, but the motor just stops running.
Has this happens to anyone else, or does somebody know how to fix this? Thank you so much for your time.

Yep ... take out the impeller and clean the internal components ... specifically the tube that the magnetic rotor sits in, along with the bearing support at the end of that tube.

Basically, if there is enough build up of organic matter in the space between the rotor and stator tube, it will generate the same error as though a rock were stuck in the impeller.

This also happens if you are dosing ALK and CAL right near the inlet of the pump ... you will get abiotic precipitation on any warm smooth surface, and this can cause the same problem. In this case, you may need to soak the parts in a little acetic acid first to soften/dissolve the precipitate.

This is a common problem with all of these high-tech pumps ... the clearances between the rotor and the storage are just very small and run very warm ... leads to these exact problems.
