Sicce syncra silent 3.5

Anyone have sicce pumps as a return pump, im building a new tank and need some advice on these pumps, are they worth the price, are they good etc...
Im planning to get syncra silent 3.5 maybe, does anyone have this pump?

I do not have that specific pump, but I can tell you that the Sicce pumps are well known throughout the industry for their dependability. Good luck with whatever you choose!

I don’t have one that big but I have the .5 and 1.5
Both work really well my only complaint is that they get clogged easily. I have to clean mine every week or two or I lose flow. This is with a course and fine filter prior to return. After about 6 months of that I took out the sponge before the return prop and it lasts about a month before needing cleaned.
On the plus side, with the sponge they are silent lol without the sponge, I get the occasional Cerith snail that suicides into the propellor and hear a small “crunch”

I had a 3.5 as a return pump, mine was very noisy. But seemed to be good quality. Currently I have a sicce ultra zero pump that I've been trying to get service/warranty repair but sicce will not answer the email sent via their website and have not returned any of my calls. Horribly disappointed at this point. Just my 2 cents.

I have the Sicce 4.0 and so far, it's been great! Here's my review:

Same here no support. Via US contact support page on their web page with no support for warranty issues.

I have the Sicce 4 and I like it so far - but I only started my tank a couple of weeks ago, so can't comment on how often it needs cleaning.

It seems quiet to me, but I haven't used any other return pumps so don't have a point of comparison. I have noticed that the pump on my Dalua Great White skimmer is actually silent - I can't hear it all, whereas I can hear the Sicce when I'm in the same room as the tank.

Sicce 3.0 here since 2016. Very good pump without issue and does not get cleaned regularly. Not silent but not at all noisy either.

Before I went all dc pumps ( IMO, the quietest pumps) I loved the Sicce 3.0 and the 3.5 on my smaller tanks.
They lasted for years and seemed pretty darn quiet.
