Recently got a sicce synced silent 4.0 for a UV I just installed and it vibrates like crazy. Took it apart today to see if I could notice anything and everything seems fine, just seems like the magnet side of the impeller is wobbling around inside the housing and making a ton of vibration.

Anyone else had this problem? Is it just the sicce pump, should I try another pump? I need someone around 800gph+ so I was trying to avoid spending $350 for a Vectra S2 or something comparable, but that’s what I use for my return and it’s dead silent.

attached is a video of the pump running and then turning it off. Ignore where it’s looking ha just took it for the sound.

A silicone mat around the pump and silicone tubing before hard plumbing could work. How do you have it plumbed?
3/4” tubing. Here it is. It’s really rigid still since I just put it in. But I made sure the pump isn’t touching any sides of the sump or any other equipment. It has the rubber feet on it that it came with. The UV mounts have felt pads, it’s definitely not the UV vibrating.

Is it a brand new pump? If so just have Sicce Replace it. Reach out to their customer service, they have a 5 year warranty for a reason :)

Im having the same issue and mine is connected to hose. I actually bought another one cuz i thought it was a pump issue and havnt gotten a response from sicce yet. Set the other one up and its even louder and I even tried silicone mats under amd all around the pump, i gave up if it doesnt go away ill have a red sea reefer 250 for sale soon as its driving me crazy.

Their ticketing system might still be broken, if you have a ticket number, I am sure @Jay Wilson- SICCE can get it assigned for you. For what it's worth, none of my Sicce returns have ever been loud, (I have an SDC 3.0 and an SDC 6.0) But my XStream SDC's were loud until they "seasoned" which took a couple of weeks-> 1 Month
