Hey Folks,
I am currently filling my 180 FOWLR tank with RO. I will add salt in a day or so. I am also going to have some aggressive soft corals(leathers, pulsing zinnia, star polyps, etc.). I need to add a wave maker system. The options are overwhelming to say the least. I generally think the more simple, the better. Hers is my current choice

I am wondering if this is massive overkill on water movement? Each pump is something like 3000 gallons per hour(rough guesstimate). With the controller I can fluctuate a percentage of active time from 50-50 to 0-100. I can also set the pulse width from a few seconds to about 5 minutes. So would this work? Are the pumps just too big for this tank?
I really like the simplicity of the controller, but I need some ideas on what he appropriate pump size should be.
Thanks in advance
Mark
