Where you feeding it at least once a week? Like mysis shrimp? I alway feed in the early am before the lights come on.

As long as it's still attached, I'd give it a chance. If it falls to the bottom, then it's probably gone and time to remove.

they don-t eat that much in nature. With proper lighting the don't need to be feed directly ever.
I think it's impossible to know how much they eat in nature and probable that they eat small amounts every day.
I agree that they don't need to be fed when they have proper lighting but it depends what you're trying to do.
If you feed more they'll grow faster.
I feed mine about three times a week and it grows quickly. If I don't feed it, it's fine, and if I feed to much it'll spit it back out.

I rarely target feed my Nems. I let them grab what is in the water column from daily feedings. Occasionally, I will soak dried krill in tank water and then feed it to the Nems.

I notice in your photo that there seems to be another Nem photo-bombing at the top left. That one seems fine. Is there anything else in the tank that could be irritating the Nem in question?

3 times a week is crazy thats alot of work for a nem. I never directly feed mine. But whatever works for you.

In nature, a piece of shrimp, fish, or other food items, would rarely make it to the nem.
The clowns sometimes share.
Spitting out anything is very hard on this animal, I seen them weeks in recovery mode, some just die.
Once/twice a month for me.

I feed my nem a small piece of raw shrimp once a week. It is growing like crazy!
