Need a little more info to diagnose:
1. How long has the clown been in the tank?
2. Do you have any new anemones or corals? (so far my best guess from the pic is stinging from a new coral/anemone)
3. what are your water parameters (temp, ph, alk, ca, salinity)
4. what, if anything, have you treated the clown for recently/in the past? What was your treatment?

What kind of corals do you have? I had one years ago that ended up being sting marks. I never experienced black ich though.

No new members some zoas and neon bird nest
In tank for about 8 months
Temp 77 8.0 ph 10 alk 480 calcium 1.025 sal
Haven’t treated at all

I'm not an expert but guessing Hyper-Melanization, I could be way off though. Let's get some more help.

Sounds like your clownfish is trying to buddy up with something that doesn't want a buddy or it is being overly friendly. Did it recently start hanging with your nem?

Noticed it likes to literally sleep next to my zoas on the top rock away from the flow maybe the zoa doing work

Sweet you think i should remove that zoa from where the clown sits at night aka sleeps
You can leave it, eventually the fish will build up a mucus membrane against it

Does he hang out by or in the Hammer? I bet its the Nem or the Hammer. My clown lives in a large Frogspown and gets this as well.

Not really mostly by the zoas and anemone

The anemone could easily be responsible if the clown is just starting to use it. As said above it will eventually become immune.
