Hi All,

First time caller, long time listener! Would really appreciate some help with our clown fish.

His right pelvic fin has disappeared, all that remains are the translucent spines that were part of the original fin. I've seen him rubbing it off the rocks.

He recently had a bought of internal parasites (white stringy poop thing), I think I treated that ok with praziquantel. I thought at first the fin damage was from him rubbing his belly on rocks due to this.

Now the fin looks like its getting worse. Perhaps its a fungus thing? All the water parameters are ok. Its very hard to get a picture, here is the best i could do. What are your thoughts?

This is likely a bacterial infection. Have you checked the fish for flukes?
A 5 minute FW dip would confirm. He is going to need moved to a QT and some antibiotics. I would Recommend the "trifecta" (Kanaplex, Metroplex, and Furan-2) 10-14 days.

Are you and Indiana person (Bob and Tom Reference) or listen from elsewhere?
