I've had this close for over a month when I got him he was very healthy very bright orange and dark black color well the last week he has been losing his color and had clamped fins. He has been through two prazi treatments and is now in copper for the last 3 days. Last two days I have been doing freshwater dips and he spread his fins after and ate a little. Not sure what to do I hope it's not brook cus I tried to find formalin and can't. My other clown that's in at eats like a pig. Here's some pics to look at.

Well, the faded color and clamped fins could mean Brooklynella. The problem with using copper on clownfish is it will suppress full blown symptoms of brook but not completely cure it. If I were you, I'd remove the clownfish from copper and see what happens. In the meantime, order some formalin just in case: http://www.petsolutions.com/C/External-Parasite-Ich-Fish-Medications/I/Formalin-MS.aspx

FYI - there are other treatments (besides formalin) for brook. I know Chloroquine phosphate works. Supposedly so does acriflavine and metronidazole, but I have no experience using either of those to treat brook. As you probably know, a FW dip provides temporary relief.

Thanks I ordered the formalin. Would the cupramine and dips suppress the brook till I get it? Also should I dip the other clown and tang that's in the qt with the formalin when I get it? Also he has stringy poo pic below. His fins are clamped in the pic cus I caught it while he was turning, but they have been open since the first freshwater dip. Trying to rule out everything so far that's all the info I have.

Is that stringy poo white (it matters)?

Could they survive two prazi treatments? Or is there a diff treatment for that?

Prazi treats gill flukes and some intestinal worms, but metronidazole is more effective at clearing them. I use both just to be sure.

Thanks for all the info humblefish I will pick up some of that and treat him with it just incase.
