I have a pair of Onyx Picasso Clowns, the male started to show signs of ich/velvet. I noticed it was breathing hard/fast a few days ago but I didn’t notice any spots so I left them in my frag system. I thought it may have been stressed or they had a slight flight. Well the next day I seen spots so I pulled the pair out and I now have them in coopersafe and also dosing metroplex and kanaplex. I dosed these two antibiotics two days straight, but the first day I had carbon running. Well long story short, now the fish are not eating. I truly don’t want to loose the pair, any help will be appreciated.

My clownfish has outlived all my fish :/ I think he is killing them. D;

Thanks, it started to eat again but still is breathing slightly heavy. Do you believe a fresh water dip is still required? I’m only asking because I fresh water dipped a fish a few weeks ago for 5 min and it died.

One other question, do I dose metroplex/kanaplex daily for 10/3 days? The instructions say every other day, but I read on R2R people dose daily.

@Humblefish

It's your call. The purpose of the FW dip is to clear out some of the parasites, especially inside the gills.

Every 48 hours for 10-14 days.
