Sick clownfish

Hey all, I have a sick clownfish. He has white, clear ish poop. A long string of it. He's breathing hard. And I thought that might be related to a parasite, but all the other threads I found indicated that the fish was eating. And this fish will not eat anything, and is basically just hovering in the corner of the tank. I'm certain he will die if I can't figure out what is going on with him. Any thoughts about what it might be, or treatment? Thank you!

Try some prazipro. Its reef safe and works well for worms and internal parasites I used it in my tank.

+1 to try prazi, although I'll say that as with any treatment you should do in a quarantine system. If you can get it to eat, feeding food with Metronidazole/focus twice a day for ten days should help with internal parasites.

I'm having the same problem. Fish wont take the medicated food either even with garlic. Am I just out of luck here or can the fishes immune system eventually fight off the parasites?

If you can jump on the prazipro, that might be the best route to go. Just started mine a few moments ago. Ordered from amazon. Came in a few Days.

Are you feeding it or dosing it straight to the tank?

check nitrates, sounds like an internal parasite but shouldn't stop the fish from eating.

prazi might help like earlier posters recommended. Maybe it doesn't recognize your food. Could always try live brine shrimp if you can get them from the LFS.

You dose it into the tank. Just make sure you take out carbon (idk if you have to turn off skimmer I forget).

I believe you turn off skimmer or UV sterilizer. I got rid of my chemipure blue just Incase as well.

correct, I dosed right into my power head. Going to wait 5-7 days and then to a 25% water change. Then dose again to be on the safe side.
