My Duncan was open this morning but is now closed and has these white spots! Help please!

Duncans do that. If it stays closed for an entire day or two, then I'd be worried.

If it does stay closed, please post water parameters as

It has open up some since the picture. What do you think about the white spots. My salinity is low at 1.022

Check your salinity. Calibrate your tester if possible. High salinity as well as high alk or nitrates may cause this.
They do best under moderate light and water flow as well as :

Temp 77-79
salinity 1.025
ph 8.1-8.3
alk 8-9
mag 1300
CA 440
nitrate < .04
Phos , .04

Take a close look at the base of the coral and check for any bugs, nudibranchs

increase salinity to at least 1.024

Spots look normal.

1.022 isn't anything to be immediately concerned about if it has been stable like that for a while. You can bring it up slowly and make sure what you are using to measure salinity is calibrated properly.

I have no personal experience with duncans, but the white spots would make me look in the tank with the lights off, and use a flashlight and magnifying glass.
As per your salinity, raise it slowly.
I'd go about 1 point per day until you reach 1.025-1.026

1.022 is just too low. Here are mine at 1.025 under moderate light using all orpheks and moderate flow

Each head is about 3" round.

Thanks for sharing. I was buying my water from a LFS and they sale it at 1.021 I’m trying to bring it up slowly to 1.025 which seems to be what most recommend. I just got this coral and it looked fantastic, but I know that it was in 1.025 water and then I put it in my tank and probably put it into shock. I really hope it doesn’t die. It is open completely now, I just don’t know why it is getting these white spots on the stalk.

As I recommended, look at the spots after lights out. Use a flashlight and magnifying glass. Look for pests.

If you bring it up gradually, you should be ok

I will check on that tonight. I have seen the cleaner shrimp messing with it, could he make those marks?

Oh my goodness! Could my Jewel Damsel be doing this! My husband and I believe he is we saw him picking at it and now also my Sonic Galaxea! What in the world? What do I do, now?
