Check your salinity. Calibrate your tester if possible. High salinity as well as high alk or nitrates may cause this.
They do best under moderate light and water flow as well as :
Temp 77-79
salinity 1.025
ph 8.1-8.3
alk 8-9
mag 1300
CA 440
nitrate < .04
Phos , .04

Thanks for sharing. I was buying my water from a LFS and they sale it at 1.021 I’m trying to bring it up slowly to 1.025 which seems to be what most recommend. I just got this coral and it looked fantastic, but I know that it was in 1.025 water and then I put it in my tank and probably put it into shock. I really hope it doesn’t die. It is open completely now, I just don’t know why it is getting these white spots on the stalk.1.022 is just too low. Here are mine at 1.025 under moderate light using all orpheks and moderate flow
Each head is about 3" round.

As I recommended, look at the spots after lights out. Use a flashlight and magnifying glass. Look for pests. Thanks for sharing. I will check on that tonight. I have seen the cleaner shrimp messing with it, could he make those marks? As I recommended, look at the spots after lights out. Use a flashlight and magnifying glass. Look for pests.
I didn’t see any pest? Would you recommend taking it out and dipping it againAs I recommended, look at the spots after lights out. Use a flashlight and magnifying glass. Look for pests.
Probably at this point no. No need to add more stress.Di

Continue gradually raising your salinity and see how it responds.
