Sick fish help .

Cardinal fish is sick .He has been like this for weeks .He stays at the bottum and hardly eats .Never was like this before .Any thoughts thanks .

Do you know how old your fish is? When did you get it? What are your water params?

I do not now how old but got him small .It has been a few years .There is high nitrate i have been working to bring it down but its a battle .I have done 7 water changes over time more often then normal .salinity 1.025 nitrate is about 20 ppm .I will run all my hanna checkers and get back .
