I have a filefish that seems to have gotten grayer over the past few months. His eyes have always been a bit cloudy in my opinion. The more I look at him the more I think something may be up with him. I honestly have no idea how to tell if a fish is sick. He definitely still has his appetite and swim pattern is pretty normal. Just looking a bit haggarded in my opinion...

Looks pretty normal to me, let’s wait for other opinions.

Any behavioral changes?

No, he’s been pretty consistent behaviorally and eating well. It’s really just the visual changes that got my attention. He used to be much more brown but now is kind of like a gray and brown camo and seems to be getting lighter. Not sure if that’s just normal change in these guys. I’ve had him over a year

Unfortunately I have no experience with Filefish.
