I noticed that my blue tang in swimming funny. This morning she was laying under a rock. When she's out in the open it's like her body wants to float to the top. I ordered stuff to treat for parasites but won't be here until Tues. What do I do? My other fish are fine and she is eating.

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

Can you post a video taken under white lights? That would help us judge the fish's overall demeanor. How long have you had the tang? What medication did you order?

I can try and get a better video she has been hiding pretty much all day until I put food in the tank. I've had her for a week and was fine until yesterday

Yesterday she had stress spots I did a water change bit she still looks pale...I read somewhere that blue tangs don't like carbon...I do have carbon in my sump of my dt tank could that be the reason she started not doing well?

The carbon connection and blue tangs isn't that it bothers them, so much as it can cause Head and Lateral Line Erosion in the tangs, they will behave normally, but will develop disfiguring scars in some instances.

Blue tangs do like to hide in crevices, but it could also have a positive buoyancy issue and it is trying to wedge itself under a rock to hold itself in place.

A short video of it would help.

Before I put her in qt I noticed she was running into rocks and scratching against them if that helps

Scratching can be an indication of flukes. Those can be treated with Prazipro. Sometimes though, a fish will scratch once or twice for no real reason.

My two damsels don't show any signs of sickness and they were together for a week before qt

It's hard to tell as she lays on the bottom of the tank
Flukes do not universally infect every species of fish - some are specific to certain groups of fish, therefore it is possible for only some fish in a tank to be affected. Ich and velvet on the other hand will infect most aquarium fish.

Should I try a freshwater dip?

Perhaps, just be careful catching it up. Five minutes, and you may or may not see dead flukes in the container, small flukes can’t be seen without a microscope. If the fish improves the next day, you can figure flukes and then start a prazi treatment.
I’m still a bit concerned that the tangs skin looks cloudy, can you get a better picture? Running to a meeting now, but I should be back online tonight....
