Sick fish

My trigger has been acting strange the last few days. Gasping some for breath and not eating. At times his color seems to go to a light almost white. Any ideas what the issue might be? I did a 30% water change today and cleaned the skimmer and changed filter. I added prime and bacteria. It looks as if he has something below his mouth. Thoughts?

This looks like Brooklynella to me. Could possibly velvet but appears to be brook. I just lost 2 fish to brook so I hope it isn't.

I've heard metroplex working in a lot of cases. I've also heard general cure works. I unfortunately didn't get it until it was too late. Your fish looks okay, if you caught it early then I think it can work! Let me know how it goes, Good luck!
