I see dots all over the fish but all over the glass too
Not sure if it’s fish, glass or both
Can you clean glass and retake pics?

So, yesterday was the first day of copper? Looks pretty severe. Appears fish may be shedding slime. Does it appear that the spots are on the skin and not in the slime?

I would go ahead and raise the copper to 2.5. It may take a day or two before you see the spots diminish very much.

Looks like severe ich.

2.0 should be high enough. People (and the bottle) do suggest 2.5 ppm. Foxface and tang can handle high copper with no problem IME. Spots can take as long as 3-7 days to disappear. The copper will keep any new ich trophonts (feeding stage) from attaching, so you are just waiting for the ich to fall off.

Yeah he’s a great guy he said he had ich. I told him get your butt over here and get my tanks abs copper. He was waiting for someone else who didn’t come through. Lost a flame angel during that time. 2.5 ok will do no that glass should be clean prettt much. Thanks everyone

I mean the outside, theres salt on it so its hard to tell whats on the fish and whats just salt on the glass.

I'm concerned about the rock in the tank. Will make maintaining levels difficult.

It also doesn't look like CI to me, but... others know better.

So those rocks I use for qt. They’ve been soaked in copper many a times. Have never had copper levels change due to the rocks. It’s to help unstress the fish and grab bacteria

I know ich is still in the tank but it’s amazing what some coppersafe and proper care can do!

Be sure to follow through with full treatment which is 30 days at 80.5 degrees at therapeutic level 2.25-2.5 measured by a reliable copper test kit (no API brand kit) This is best done in a quarantine tank UNLESS you have No intention of having corals and/or invertebrates such as shrimp-snails-crabs

100 percent. I’m glad my friend has been listening. At the beginning he didn’t think it was a rush but as you can see yup. Thanks again
