Sick Foxface

yeah it’s a bummer another tang has some spots in his fins but both haven’t had any behavioral changes and are still devouring the nori sheets i put in

Ich is something that can be managed with a healthy immune system, personally I have decided to eradicate it from my system for the overall health of my fish and so I can enjoy them disease free as long as possible. (I just started yesterday) Read this thread and you can decide what's best for you. If you decide to manage instead of eradicate then it's likely there will losses when the fish become overly stressed.

Powder blue and clown tangs can both be very aggressive. It seems you have a lot of large fish in this tank. 3 big tangs and a foot long eel. Only running since Dec? Also I wouldn't have a pipefish with all these aggressive eaters.

the clown is very small and the pipefish has not been bothered. I understand the basic rules for husbandry concerns but I can assure there have been no problems and because the pipefish eats tiger pods it isn’t competing with the aggressive eaters for frozen food
