Had these engineer gobies a out 3 years or so now and in the last few weeks they started behaving strangely and I've now noticed these marks on their tails (sorry the pic is crap had to zoom in a lot on phone) they also seem very lethargic and not eating at all. Any advice appreciated.

Managed to get some better pics. Like I say any advice at all appreciated. Whatever it is it's only on these 2 fish and only on their tails. If you saw them head on you wouldn't think there was anything amiss

What other fish and inverts do you have? It looks like something could be biting the tails? Maybe a fungal or bacterial infection?

#reefsquad maybe move this to disease
Forum?

Agree looks like an open sore/ wound. Any aggression? if no aggression and both fish have it, then it's likely bacterial. If possible start with an acriflavine bath then move to QT and treat with abx. Metro-kana-furan or nfg.
