Sick Rabbit Fish

Any ideas what's going on with my gold spotted rabitfish? This morning he seemed fine. Hes about 5 years old, all other fish are fine. Parameters are good except phosphate, which h has been up for a while.

Looks like a bacterial infection has set in. Treating with antibiotics and great food + vitamins ( I prefer Beta Glucan as it super charges a fish's immune system).

Bacterial infections are usually the second actor as something else is the primary cause of the infection. Could be an injury, illness, etc.

Thank you for your reply. This little guy was one of my first fish and grew to be my largest at 14" long. He lived through all my beginner learning mistakes and was a big part of the reason that we went from our original 60 gallon display tank to our current 180 gallon display. Unfortunately, he didn't survive this one :( All of the other fish appear fine and the parameters remain good.
