Sick salfin tang?

My mother bought this salfin tang off someone on kijiji is it suppose to have this white spot, it didn't look great when I got it, the person sold it for 50$, maybe this explains the price. Sickens me how people just rip off and sell sick fish smh to bad I wasn't there to see it when she got it
