Sick yellow tang

picked up this guy 4 days ago. Looked good at the fish store but when I got him home and let him go in my tank I noticed some white patches on him under the blue light I had not seen before. He’s been hiding out in the rocks but I habe noticed some small black spots on him and this morning he is acting very irratic. Not the best pics but hope someone can mabey identify what’s going on I plan to try and catch him on my lunch break and then qt him but not sure what the treatment should be because not sure what I’m dealing with.

Has his color improved since you turned the lights on? Yellow Tangs will oftentimes look splotchy in the dark.

Maybe some strain of pie tang?? But you said he looked regular in the store?
