Sick yellow tang

Ok I separated the fish everyone is eating and happy. The spots on purple tang are cottony. Any reason to keep other fish in QT? How should I treat the cottony spots?

I am surprised one of the experts has not responded. Sounds like a secondary bacterial infection. You might try ABX.
