I apologize for the poor picture but it seems my new zoa is not well. Just put him in 3-4 days ago. Got him from local coral store that I've never had any issues with - have never dipped at all. I circled what looks like dying parts. Even during the day, none of the blooms are fully open.

I have another zoa that is strong and other LPS and SPS. Everything is good. Metrics are good. Any thoughts? Give him more time?

Doesn't look too bad really. Give it more time and consider dipping and/or changing location. Zoas take dipping well. Definitely don't start changing things for 1 coral if the rest of your corals are fine.

Thank you all. I'm relatively new to having a reef tank. Ordered some dip which gets here tomorrow. Here is an updated picture from this morning. appears as if there are stringy things hanging off a couple of the blooms pictured here.

Zoas don't look too bad to me, but the thing circled in question looks like it may be something else....clove polyp, xenia or featherduster.
