Hi everyone, my columbian shark has always been healthy but today I noticed that both his big whiskers are half gone and at the end of one of them there is some fleshy looking white stuff. Is this some kind of disease or an injury and what do you all think i should do?

He is in a 180 gallon with another columbian shark and a maroon clownfish, a mono argentus and two firefish

Sounds like injury to me. Sounds like he went digging into something and wore down the whiskers.

That makes sense but today one of his whiskers is almost gone. Here's some pictures, on the last one you can see both his whiskers, they are both damaged but the difference in size is huge.

Is there anything I can do to help in the healing process?
