I know its kinda chemistry, but I'm looking more for observations made with regards to the tank inhabitants. Last year I dosed H2O2, 3% for two weeks. About 1ml/gallon per day. It was to destroy a Dino bloom. And it worked. Now, in the week after that regime, my RBTA split twice and my turban snails went in a crazy spawning deal where 20 turned my tank water a milky white with breeding byproducts. The skimmer overflowed and a large emergency WC plus carbon was done. Every thing was fine. However, I would like to know if anyone else had splitting nems or breeding snails/inverts during or after a H2O2 dosing ?

I noticed my snails did that when i dose last year.I didn't have a nem at that time so can't answer that.

peroxide has caused mushroom corals to take over my reef, this reproduction observation is valid and we see it in non stony corals often

Just noticed I posted in the fish section..oops. Well it would be interesting to see if others had this odd and possibly negative invert reaction.

It's made my magician palys bleach out and look ghost like. Pretty cool actually :) They have been this way for a few months, so I actually hope it holds.

Interesting, maybe someone can use this info to do the process on some aquacultured expensive shrooms!

I have succesfully used it to rid my tank of Dino's too.....only did 1mL of 3% per 10 gallons of tank water volume though. Your increased dosage may be what caused some of your inverts to go crazy. The only side effects that I saw were my zoas and softies would close up for about 10 minutes after dosing.
