Sideways firefish?

So I have a firefish in my tank. Lights were out, but I saw him laying on his side instead of upright. So I turned on the lights and he immediately got up. All the others in the tank seemed fine so I don’t think it’s my water parameters. Is this normal? I’ve only had him a few days, but he seemed healthy other than that.

Lights are back off. Back to being on his side

Sorry this must be confusing but I looked back again and now he’s upright. I think he’s fine but anyone with similar experience have anything to say?

He may be just sleeping when the lights are off but still keep an eye on him. My clownfish kinda does that too

Mine did this too. Not sure why. He slept out in the open rather than a cave.

Yeah sadly he died was probably sick or stressed out

I wonder then if there’s a reason they do that....maybe hunger?
