So ive had a spiky urchin in my tank for about a year and then it decided to get a taste for my lps :( i didnt realize it was the cause of my coral dying at first then i saw it in action and i got rid of it asap everything was all good after that then about 2 weeks ago one of my scolies got its mouth ripped out and i couldnt figure out what did it cause i got rid of the urchin now today i saw my pepperment shrimp on wilsoni and i examined it and it was getting n tore up so now i gotta get rid of the pepperment shrimp! i guess that the shrimp got its taste for coral from the urchin which sucks cause i havent gotten any aptasias in such a long time now and he was eattng fairly good i felt durning my feeding times idk i guess it just sucks cause now he has to go.

Spot feed meaty foods. A full belly and an easy meal may help.

Yeah Peppermints can be troublesome. I feed my current Peppermints pretty heavily once a day and this current crew of Peppermints have not gone after any of my corals. (knocks on wood)

i dont really want to get rid of him but i also dont wanna readd him back to the tank if hes gunna be tearing stuff up you know i can feed him good once a day but idk if thatll fill his craving for corals you get me

I understand but you can either try feeding it and see if that works or take him out. Atleast its not difficult to get them out. Good luck.
