Signature's - Tank status via reefchat - Anyone else

I'm trying to see if Rev will let us add these to our signature so we can see our reef status in our posts.
I am using mine to help me check on my tank while I am away.

It takes a bit of seat time, but pretty straight forward if you do much computing.

Hey buddy I was going to PM you, but here is fine.

We had discussed signature pics, but decided against them. We were afraid of looking like NR. We do allow our sponsors at this time, but that is all. We can look back into it though for sure.

Right on -

I was thinking only Premium Members (one of the perks), then maybe keeping the size to 500x100 or even smaller.
The one above is 600x100.

I know sigs can sometimes get to be ridiculous. I don't do any other forums really (except my local ones), but some get out of hand.

I would use this signature since I use it all the time to see my tanks stats when I am not around.

One benefit would be that there are only about 150 people using the whole signature status thing, so there wouldn't be many of us, and most if not all would pay for premium membership to be able to use it.

I was thinking more along the lines of ONLY signature status pictures, or a little lenient and reefing pics for those without controllers. ie. not just a jpeg or whatever of your alter ego slicing through the universe.

This is a buddies walkthrough that he created - I copied and pasted it here since I got a couple pm's about it.
Reefchat also has a signature generator help forum.

You must do this:

First you must register @ www.reefchat.org
They have the signature generator and all the instructions in the "Extras" section.
So far fairly straight forward. You can use your own image as background. In the instructions on the website you will find all the help needed, as far as dimensions of the images, etc.

Once you have created the signature, if you click on its properties it will give you this http://www.rowelab.com/AquaController/sig.php?n=YOURREEFNAME (*where instead of YOURREEFNAME you will have your user name).

The generator of the code creates a png image every time the scrip is called, the image that it generates is: http://www.rowelab.com/AquaController/rc_YOURREEFNAME_sig.png. Replace the YOURREEFNAME with your user name, the one you created at www.reefchat.org and Voila!!!
