Here is some of my collection I lost. The wife made me toss the colonies and bigger pieces since they "stunk"! as she put it! Got me lots of frag plugs though....

Tank crash. Had something in some sand I put in the tank. I posted in on it last week.

that sucks i had something like that happen in our old 420. out aqua logic chiller 1hp had a controller porblem and got stuck ON. i went to do something in the tank and stuck my hand in and freaked out. it was like sticking my hand in a bucket of ice lol. temp was 50 degrees.
lost almost everything. a few soft corals made it but other then that it was all gone. the ony good part about it is the whole LE collecting thing had not started back then so there was not crazy high dollar peices in the tank. still lost a ton of cash but could have been worse.

good luck with your rebuild.

PS: the funny part was after i got over the lose i got excited about getting to rebuild again.
i have a sickness lol

I have a bucket full from my last loss including a several caps there were a foot across and many aussie corals.

I second that...if there is the least little bit of tissue give it a chance...you have nothing to loose...I've had chalices with way less tissue than that stage a comeback. I put them in the fuge, low light, low flow and lots of pods to eat...worked for me...Good Luck
