My Waterbox 130.4 is dead silent, until I turn on the wave pumps? I have tried moving the pumps, turning then down and it still causes the overflow to be loud. Any advice is appreciated?
Thanks, Rob

Were you able to resolve this?My Waterbox 130.4 is dead silent, until I turn on the wave pumps? I have tried moving the pumps, turning then down and it still causes the overflow to be loud. Any advice is appreciated?

I can only solve this by turning the pump down. Wish there was a better solution. Not sure i am getting enough turnover. Were you able to resolve this?
It's just the standard waterbox 130.4. The emergency over flow almost touches the return pipe. Could I lengthen it, a few millimeters. I am getting used to it. I imagine part of the problem is I sit really close to the tank. I can almost touch it from where I sit. What type of overflow system are you using? Could you get a pic?
It most likely can be resolved by adjusting the drain or the length of the drain pipes in the box.
What do u mean increasing water level. Im literally suffering from this they ramp up and boom!I had the same problem, quiet until wavemaker ramp up.
But it was resolved by increasing water level.
The waves seemed to allow some air to get into the overflows.
I increased pump speed from 37% to 50%. This morning. And the problem is the wave maker splash doesnt matter what pump speed i have. Im tired of this tbhSo, if your returns are noisy, it’s likely the water level is too slow, and the water to low in the DT.
Increase pump speed should increase water height in the DT, lower in the sump return chamber.
The other option would be to close the valve on the return/s slightly till she runs silent.
according to video- you are overflowing into the drain and will cause the noise even if you raise the water level. This will need modification similar to a durso water flow to alleviate the issue. What do u mean increasing water level. Im literally suffering from this they ramp up and boom!
Sorry, can’t see the video on my end.I increased pump speed from 37% to 50%. This morning. And the problem is the wave maker splash doesnt matter what pump speed i have. Im tired of this tbh
U cant place your finger between the emergency pipe, and top of fitting let alone adding a T adapter. Its a waterbox tank and not custom. I meant as it doesnt fitaccording to video- you are overflowing into the drain and will cause the noise even if you raise the water level. Modify by obtaining as below in pic, a T- fitting, 90 degree elbow and a cap on top. Drill a hole on top of cap and place rigid or flexible tubing which acts a silencer and siphon break should a power outage occur. This is a very simple procedure and you dont even have to glue the parts together. Water will go up the tube opposed to current down the tube
