Hey guys currently leak testing a tank and all is going good but its got black silicone that is changing color. Anyone know what this is about.

No it doesnt wipe off. In this picture i had just filled it up to make sure it did leak. So it was this color dry. And yes tap water for leak testDoes it wipe off like a slime or anything? Have you drained it to see if it changes? Are you just using tap water?
Well are you aware of the age of the tank? It’s almost seems like an age issue or improper silicone issue.
Although I have never heard a definitive answer for the cause, this is not the first time I have heard about aquarium sealant turning yellow for not obvious reason (e.g., dosing, treatment, bleach, incorrect silicon, etc.). If you do a search on aquarium silicon discoloring or aquarium silicon yellowing then you will get a number of results describing similar situations. IMO, keep an eye on it but not necessarily a reason for panic. Good luck!
