Silicone Bulkhead gaskets?

Since we have everything from ice cube trays to muffin tins being made out of silicone, when will we get bulkhead gaskets?? Instead of the inferior black things that harden and start to leak over time??

That would be nice. I always slather mine with silicon grease before I install them.

There are a large selection of gaskets avail in many different materials. In the hobby "cheap" rules. 90% want to spend as little as possible. Thats what gets stocked and sold. You wont find them at your big aquarium suppliers. Just be sure you get ones that will compress enough to fill in the irregularities in the bulkhead face without cracking the glass.

Where would I go to find them?
Any time I've ever tried, all I ever found were what we already have .
