Hi

I've added a few pictures of the damaged silicone due to Cat scratches. The damage is in the bottom left corner at the front. It's a 20 gallon redsea nano.

What's my opinions here... leave along or try a repair of some sort. I really do not want to empty this tank.

Please some advice would be appreciated!!

Do nothing. It's on the exterior. Generally you only need to worry if there are bubbles or separation within the two pieces of glass.

Also, you can't "repair" silicone seams. Silicone won't stick to silicone. If it were an issue, you would have to re-seam the tank, which means completely separating the panels, clearing out all silicone and re-doing it.

Thanks... I'll keep an eye on it. Was thinking of adding a new bead of silicone over the damaged but if it won't bond to existing silicone then i won't bother.

put the cat in the tank, no one has catfish anymore
Trust me I've already thought of that ... it's a new cat and has a lot of interest in the fish, been jumping at the glass and then i noticed the silicone..

Does anyone know how to train a cat without physical violence!!

If you could train them they would be called dogs.
