Hi everyone, I’m concerned re the seams of my 1000 litre aquarium. Sand has breached the silicone and I’m worried it’s related to worms eating or boring into the seal. I have physically seen 1mm tiny worm in the seam but not sure whether it’s just passing through or whether it’s doing damage.

My question is, there’s no leak at the moment. Wondering whether I can try and catch with a bristle worm trap?

This is an interesting topic in theory, but I have never heard this raised as an issue so my inclination is to say that it is a non issue. That being said, as it is something I never thought about I cannot wait to hear what others think.
