The instructions for the bubble king are as follows:

"Once the skimmer has formed enough dry foam, it is recommended to grease the upper end of the riser tube as well as the inner foam ring. This will prevent the foam cup from being filled with solid dry foam because the bubbles will burst as soon as they come in contact with the grease. This way, only the absorbate will enter the cup."

Has anyone done this? I don't even know exactly WHERE to grease, based on the instructions.

Any insight is appreciated.

It says grease the "upper end of the riser tube" and the "inner foam ring".
I would assume thats where to apply it. In the path of the bubbles.

I have not performed this as i dont own that piece of equipment but grease/oil does burst bubbles upon contact (defoamer)

I would use molykote 111.

I got that part, I mean specifically. Does it mean the inside of the inner foam ring or the outside?
