Silicone ok?

I did get the 40 breeder. But now I think I need someone to maybe reseal it? It had a bearded dragon in it and the Silicon on the inside is scratched and slightly peeling. In one corner it's rubbed away close to the edge.

Have you water tested it? If not do so, I also recommend putting some weight in the tank when its full, this will imitate the weight of your rock and sand. You can seal it yourself, you just have to be very meticulous about it. Many youtube videos out there on how to do so.
 
The silicone between the panels is the only part that really seals and holds the force of the tank. The beads on the inside are mostly to protect that critical seal between the glass.

So it likely is fine. That said, if you want to reseal the tank, now is the time.
 
Well had someone generously offera 46 gallon bow with stanD.

6 gal. Fluval Edge aquarium full setup with all supplies. Filter, heater, decore that hides the heater and filter intake, some black gravel, extra ligt bulbs, and extra filter media. $160 obo
