Hey everyone! I dont consider myself an idiot, but right now i feel like one!! My house is packed with smarthome tech, sensors, switches, etc etc etc, and i finally took all of my smart switches dimmers sensors and valves OUT of my aquarium and hooked everything up to an APEX.

I havent had time to get everything online yet, pretty much just the life support, but i cant seem to set up a simple timer for the Display tank light!!! Smh... im sure im mkssing a sinple step and just. Eed more familiarity with the software, but does anyone see my mistake??? The light is on outlet 1 as shows in screenshot 2.

Is the Timezone set correctly in your Apex?

If you see two times displayed in Apex Fusion this means that the device you are viewing it on (your phone from the screenshot above) is in a different Timezone to the Apex itself. It may be that the Apex is in the wrong Timezone (e.g. DST) and the lights are following that Timezone not your actual one.

Hmmmm!! So you're saying i want the apex time and local time to match!! That makes sense! I wasnt sjre why two times were listed but hadnt put much thought into it yet as there was plenty more to explorer!

This should fix it!!

Did that work?? Your programming looks fine there. Only thing I would change is uncheck the Log. Probably no reason to see logs of lights going on and off every day.

Thanks, it appears to have worked! However the reall check will be tonight if they shut down, but i belive they will. Thank you!

Yeah, during setup i figured i would log everything until i realized what that really meant, then would shut off the wasted info later (such as now!).

While i have ya here... im realizing more and more having an apex isnt the end to buying more tools... in fact i feel like it results in needing more!!! Just to verify, i am replacing my light with a kessil 360NE, picking up 2 ecotech wave makers, and adding a solenoid to my rodi line with an optical sensor for ATO. To verify what i will need before ending up realizing i dont have the proper connections to tie into APEX does this sound right?

1) Kessil will simply connect with a cable only, no module needed.
2) Ecotech requires a WXM to connect to Apex. Is this needed to add extra capability, or to simply use it at all with apex?
3) Lastly the optical sensor and valve require an FMM module? Seems crazy there isnt a box with all of the connections etc available! Nickle and diming for everything seems odd!

The Ecotech Radions and Vortechs you can use the wxm module to connect, or an EccoTech ReefLink.

Optical sensors do require an FMM module.
Let us know if you need further help setting up in future.
